Native Americans are usually poor. It is unfortunate but true. Drive through most any Indian owned land in America and you will find old dilapidated homes and dwellings even worse than that.
It seems that American Indians have been unable to break out of lower rungs of economic society and for whatever reason, they languish behind other ethnic groups. They get all sorts of benefits from the government and casinos spring up on every corner. Yet with all the money coming in from those casinos, the native American people still seem to lag behind.
Obviously, something different needs to be done. One thing that few native Americans do is invest their money in the stock market. Learning to save and invest is something that is crucial if you want to pick yourself up and get out of poverty. Buying and selling stocks online may be risky to some extent but done over a long time period, has proven to be the best way to invest. It is just a start into expanding their knowledge and breaking out of the financial rut they find themselves in today.
Native Americans need to start generating capital and learn how to save and invest it. Not just in the stock market but in businesses other than casinos. They have pigeonholed themselves as a one trick pony when there is a whole world out there waiting for them. They need to expand and explore what financial opportunities there are out there other than casinos.
