So over the past few years we have seen greater and greater struggle on the part of Native populations to have some element of control over their status and their way of life.
The United States government, not surprisingly, has continued to demand more of these lesser developed Native populations than it does of any other major ethnic group in the country. From the continued supply and dumping of nuclear material, on or next to Native lands as well as the continued lack of medical support in their areas-why does the government continue to write the same chapter of American-Native relations year after year after year?
