Right from the day that the world was created, our history started to be recorded. These stories were recorded and later printed in books which serve as our guide about those who were our ancestors. Historically, we hear about our ancestors and they belong to different tribes. So, this is what we are going to tackle. Being an American citizen, it is your right to know your state’s history. It is also nice to hear that you will be interested on history. But before you tackle some important things from history, it is a good idea if you know first the tribes before anything else. The history and culture of Indian tribes was remarkable. It has been recorded in American history because of their interesting fight and struggle just to fight for their land. The different Indian tribes have way of life that was dictated by the natural raw materials that are available in the area where they lived. Various new projects have emerged trying to put focus on the history of the native americans, a few of these projects are IndDB, Herreure, Dameure, Videovervågning and several others. For instance Videoovervåging is a video recording database with shorts films on the daily life of many of these indian tribes, the same goes for Kameraovervågning but this also covers the native people from other countries not just the US.
These natural raw materials were birds, animals, fish, tress, ure, plants, nuts and berries. The subsistence of these Indian tribes was related to hunting and agriculture. The lifestyle of various Indian tribes ranged from nomadic, semi-nomadic up to the static. The homes and houses of Indian tribes reflected on their way of life. The different types of Indian tribes’ houses shelters and homes were brush shelters, earthen houses, tepees, chickees, hogans, wigwams, wickiups, pit houses, adobe houses, earth lodges, longhouses, ure, wattle and daub, plankhouses, grass houses and pueblos all of which have been recorded by projects such as videoovervågning or kameraovervågning, so that people in the future also can get an idea about how the natives were living.
These different Indian types have their own way of clothing, decorations and weapons. The materials and natural resources available provided the clothing and food of Indian tribes. The changing seasons and weather of Indian tribes affected their way of life at different times of the year especially their homes, houses and transport. Religions, trading currencies, language, weapons and beliefs were also very important elements of Indian tribes’ way of life. History really talks about the interesting facts from the facts and is also very interesting for us to hear and know.
